Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Retribution - The Last Standalone co-op mode to be released as standalone

The popular co-operative "Last Stand" mode from Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Retribution will be released as a standalone downloadable title "soon".

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Retribution - The Last Standalone will allow new comers to play all of the content available for the Last Stand without the need to own a copy of Retribution or any experience with RTS games. Players who then wish to experience competitive multiplayer or the single player campaign for Dawn of War II – Retribution can then upgrade their product to the full version at reduced price.

Jeff Lydell, Producer of Dawn of War II Retribution commented: “We saw this as a unique opportunity to introduce new players to the Dawn of War franchise as well as expanding the player base for the already popular Last Stand mode.”
