Call of Duty Black Ops Tops List of Fastest Completed Games

According to a new study from a recently launched video game comparison and marketplace website, ‘Call of Duty Black Ops’ has topped the charts as the fastest completed game by gaming fans; closely followed by Terminator Salvation.

The study was conducted by www.Playr2.com as part of research into the gaming habits of video game fans, with 1,671 self-confessed ‘gamers’ taking part.

These respondents were asked to estimate how long they had owned the game before single-player completion, ignoring downloadable content and online game modes. When taking all answers from respondents into account, the top 10 ‘fastest completed games’ by gamers were as follows.

1) Call of Duty Black Ops – 2 days
2) Terminator Salvation – 2.5 days
3) Resident Evil 5 – 3.2 days
4) God of War 2 – 3.3 days
5) Uncharted – 3.8 days
6) Prince of Persia Forgotten Sands – 4.1
7) Assassin’s Creed II – 5 days
8) Uncharted – 6.6 days
9) Metal Gear Solid 3 – 6.8 days
10) Grand Theft Auto IV – 8.2 days

Respondents were also asked to state how long, roughly, it had taken them to complete each game. The average gamer who had completed Call of Duty Black Ops had done so in ‘9 hours’; whilst the average player completing ‘Grand Theft Auto IV’ had done so in ‘40+ hours’.
