Modern Warfare 3 Gets Dedicated Servers on PC

Activision have confirmed at GamesCom that Modern Warfare 3 will have dedicated servers for the PC, the decision was made in an effort to prove to PC gamers that Activision is serious about the platform.

Also many prizes in official contests which will run through the Call of Duty Elite social network are up for grabs, although with the PC being an open platform there are concerns by Activision of hackers/cheaters.

Activision have said they are working on solutions and wont ship Modern Warfare 3 without being able to ensure a fair fight for players.
