New BBC iPlayer Debuts on the PlayStation 3

Sony have revealed via its Playstation EU twitter account that the new BBC iPlayer is now available to download from the XMB (XrossMediaBar) menu.

The new BBC iPlayer is designed to be easier to use on TV's and includes HD support, another newly added feature is the ability to pick your favourite programmes.
