Forza 4 demo to include Bernese Alps track and Rival mode

Turn 10 studios have released details of the Forza 4 demo is will be available from the Xbox Live marketplace on October 3rd.

In the demo racing fans will be able to try a quick race on the Bernese Alps track with the Kia cee'd, 1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator, 2011 Subaru WRX STI or the 2011 Ferrari 599 GTO.

Also included in the demo will be the new Rival mode, which is basically a combination of career events, time trials, and multiplayer. It allows you to play against your friends in a diverse group of challenging events, even when your friends are offline. Your friend is represented on track by a ghost.

For every Rivals mode event you are automatically assigned a rival (usually an Xbox LIVE friend), or you can manually set any player on the leaderboard as your rival. By beating your rival, you get bonus credits based on that rival’s leaderboard percentile rank and the size of the board.
