Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny Splashing onto the scene in mid-October

Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny has gone gold and is set for release on October 11th on both the PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii, marking the debut of the Rune Factory franchise on the Playstation.

Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny combines the gameplay of Harvest Moon with action-RPG, offering Harvest Moon fans and traditional RPG players the best of both worlds.

In Tides of Destiny players control a male and female character in one, the male side named Aden and the female side named Sonja, as they traverse the seas on a giant beast named Ymir which can raise sunken islands and ships from the sea. Players will be able to farm, fight using a real-time battle system, and form relationships.

The PlayStation 3 version of the game supports the PlayStation Move motion controller.
