Mass Effect 3 multiplayer confirmed by Australia's PC PowerPlay magazine

Australian magazine PC Powerplay have revealed in a preview of its November edition that Mass effect 3 will have a multiplayer mode. Although details about the multiplayer mode are scarce at the moment, all will be revealed when Powerplay's latest edition goes on sale in Australia on October 19th.

The PC PowerPlay website describes the issue's content as: "We travel to BioWare's office in Edmonton for hands-on time with the series' first foray into online gameplay, and chat with Mass Effect Series Producer and Mass Effect 3 Project Director Casey Hudson about the decision to go multiplayer in the epic battle for the galaxy."

According to Eurogamer 'Mass Effect 3 includes an online enabled co-op mode that is standalone and features competitive elements'.
