PlayStation Vita release date, price and specs revealed

Sony have announced that the Playstation Vita will be available throughout the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Europe., Africa, the Middle East and Australasia from 22nd February, 2012.

The Playstation Vita will retail at $249 US / £229.99 / €249.99 / AUD $349.95 / NZD $449.95 for the Wi-Fi model. The 3G/Wi-Fi model will retail at $299 US / £279.99 / €299.99 / AUD $449.95 / NZD $549.95.

The Playstation Vita currently has more than 100 games under development including Sound Shapes, Resistance: Burning Skies, Uncharted Golden Abyss, Capcom’s Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed, EA Sports’ FIFA, Activision’s Call of Duty, and numerous others which will be revealed in the months ahead.
