Capcom have announced that the Resident Evil Wii exclusives, The Umbrella Chronicles and Darkside Chronicles are set to be released in a remastered bundle 'Resident Evil Chronicles HD Selection' on the Playstation 3 with Move support.

First released in 2007, Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles is composed of five scenarios that recapitulate the events of Resident Evil Zero, Resident Evil, and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, as well as new material pertaining to the Umbrella Corporation's downfall. You'll play as eight characters over the campaign: Rebecca Chambers, Billy Coen, Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Carlos Oliveira, Albert Wesker, Ada Wong, and Hunk.

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles revolves around the personal stories and tragedies in the series. Its main focus is retelling the events of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil Code: Veronica, and a new chapter is featured. For the Resident Evil 2 segment players take control of Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield, with Sherry Birkin acting as an escort character in one chapter. The Code: Veronica chapter features Claire, accompanied by fellow Rockfort Island prisoner Steve Burnside and later her brother Chris Redfield.
