3DS firmware update delayed until December 8th

Nintendo has today revealed that the firmware update for the 3DS, which was originally planned to be available by the end of November, will now be delayed until December 8th following the final stages of internal testing.

The firmware update includes the following new features:

• Record video in 3D - capture up to 10 minutes of 3D video, or even make your own stop-motion animations.
• New ways to play using StreetPass Mii Plaza - with new puzzles for Puzzle Swap and new areas in StreetPass Quest.
• The ability to perform a complete system transfer, including downloaded software, between two Nintendo 3DS systems.
