Proceeds from the Modern Warfare soundtrack to go to charity

Activision and celebrated composer Brian Tyler announced today that they will donate all proceeds from the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 soundtrack to The Call of Duty Endowment, a non-profit, public benefit corporation that seeks to help returning soldiers transition back to civilian life, find work and establish careers.

Tyler has scored more than 50 films, including Eagle Eye, Fast & Furious and The Expendables. His elemental grasp of the action genre has yielded a stunning 20-track original score for Modern Warfare 3. The soundtrack is now available for digital download at iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody and other major digital media retailers for $.99 per track.
