Codemasters unveil 'Dirt Showdown'

Codemasters have unveiled the latest entry in the Dirt series, Dirt Showdown, which is set for release in May 2012.

Described by Codemasters as an "Arcade spin-off with a focus on stunt based racing". Dirt Showdown features split-screen multiplayer, eight-player online racing, on and off-line quick-fire party games and YouTube integration. Players will also be able to issue ‘Showdown Challenges’ to compete with friends whether they are online or not.

More details are being promised to be released later in the week.
