Sony unveils the first Magic: The Gathering Tactics expansion

Sony have today announced that the first expansion for the free-to-play tactical strategy game, Magic: The Gathering Tactics is now available.

'Secrets of Terisiare' allows Planeswalkers to summon more than 160 new figures and spells and features two new tactical game mechanics, Cloak and Charge. Cloak is a new artifact that renders characters invisible until they strike, and Charge is a powerful new attack that is unleashed on enemies when they are in a direct line of sight. The Secrets of Terisiare expansion also offers new tournament rewards and two all-new Campaign Chapters with unique bonuses.

In celebration of the game’s first expansion, players will receive one free, non-tradable, Secrets of Terisiare booster pack the first time they login between today and midnight PST on Friday, Dec. 16. Additionally, all players who participate in open tournament events through midnight Sunday, Dec. 18th, will receive a free spell.
