Tequila Works announces 'Deadlight' exclusively for Xbox LIVE Arcade

New independent Studio Tequila Works have today announced that their first title 'Deadlight' is to be published by Microsoft Studios exclusively for Xbox LIVE Arcade. The cinematic puzzle platformer is set to arrive in Summer 2012.

The Madrid-based team consists of a group of talented professionals from Blizzard Entertainment, MercurySteam Entertainment, Pyro Studios, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, Triumph Studios and Weta Digital. Highlights from the CV of Tequila Works’ members include movie productions such as Avatar or The Lovely Bones, and games such as the Commandos, the Motorstorm series, Diablo III, Heavy Rain, Overlord II and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.

Although details of Deadlight are scarce at the moment, Tequila Works have released a brief description of game and a couple of screenshots:

"In 1986, a sole survivor name Randall Wayne wanders the American west coast trying to survive. The world he once knew has been engulfed by a mysterious disease that changes people into killer automatons. Deadlight takes players into the horrors of a dying world as one man tries to avoid mankind’s extinction."
