Gears of War 3 fourth DLC 'Forces of Nature' revealed

Epic Games have today revealed the details of the fourth DLC for Gears of War 3, 'Forces of Nature'.

Available to download on March 27th, the DLC feature three brand new maps, Cove, Aftermath and Artillery, as well as the return of the two fan favourites, Jacinto and Raven Down. The all new maps will take place during or after a natural disaster. "Fog, snowstorms and tsunamis will make playing these maps quite an adventure," Epic says.

Also included in the DLC are new special weapons, which are hidden in the maps during Horde and Beast mode called 'Elemental Cleavers', these Cleavers do different types of damage. The Snow Cleaver, for example, throws a stunning gust of icy wind at an enemy, while the Emulsion Cleaver explodes on impact in an AoE burst.

Finally the DLC will include four character models, seven new weapon skins and the game mode Guardian will also be making a return.

The Forces of Nature DLC will be available to download for 800 MS Points, while Gears of War 3 Season Pass holders will get the content free when it launches on March 27th.
