Killzone 3's multiplayer mode coming to PSN as standalone, free-to-play game next week

Sony have today revealed in its latest Playstation Blogcast that a standalone Killzone 3 multiplayer mode will be available to download for free on the Playstation Network next week (Tuesday, February 28th).

The standalone multiplayer mode will allow gamers to play Killzone 3's mulitplayer mode free of charge, but progress will be capped at an unspecified level. When you hit the level cap and want to carry on levelling up, gamers will then have the option to buy the '"full" multiplayer mode for $14.99.

Currently this has only been confirmed for US players at present.
