Wheels of Destruction joins PlayStation Network’s Spring Fever – New launch date now April 3rd

Gelid Games’ upcoming vehicular combat title Wheels of Destruction has been invited to participate in PlayStation Network’s Spring Fever by Sony – as a result, Gelid has announced that a new release date is set for April 3rd, 2012.

Coming exclusively to PSN, Wheels of Destruction will also be bringing PlayStation Plus members an opportunity to purchase the game at 20% off. The game is already a steal at $9.99, but with the discount, PlayStation Plus members can pick up the game for $7.99 at launch.

Wheels of Destruction has five different vehicle classes to best suit players of different styles. From the brutal Heavy to the quick-firing Assassin, each class has their strengths and weaknesses to rule the battlefield. Five distinct classes make for deadly cutthroat vehicle combat with a unique futuristic aesthetic – all powered by the Unreal Engine. Wheels of Destruction brings gamers together just to tear them apart in an addictive, easy-to-learn but hard-to-master battle behind the wheel.
