Diablo 3 open beta weekend starts today

Blizzard have today announced that Diablo III is set to enter open beta this weekend, beginning this afternoon at 12:01pm Pacific, and running until 10:00am on Monday.

The open beta is intended to stress test the servers and will give gamers who were unable to get into the closed beta a chance to play the game before it is released on the PC and Mac on May 15th.

In the open beta, players can team up with friends, and play each of the five heroic classes to level 13. Fans wishing to join will need a Battle.net account and download the client.
