Like the original games, Black and White 2 will take place in the Isshu Region, with the addition of a new area called Hiougi City, which is located to south of the Isshu region. Other confirmed details include a new rival, gym leaders and a total of 300 Pokémon will be available from the start, which includes Pokémon from previous editions such as Psyduck, Riolu, Metagross, Tyranitar, Lapras, and Arcanine.
Pokémon Black and White 2 will be released in Japan on June 23rd for the Nintendo DS family of systems and can also be played on the Nintendo 3DS in 2D. Nintendo has yet to confirm when it will be released in the West.
