From the teaser trailer below, God of War: Ascension seems to be a prequel to the original trilogy, before Kratos became the Ghost of Sparta. Not much else is known about the game, however. The games listing notes, "Join Kratos as he seeks freedom, redemption, and the clarity to avenge his family in the most ambitious God of War adventure in the series so far."
Although Sony are keeping details of the game strictly under wraps, they have said that a live streaming event, which will reveal the first details of the game, will go live on Facebook and the PlayStation Blog this Monday, April 30th at 8am Pacific Time.
In the event, the developers will also be answering questions about the game, fans who wish to take part can ask questions on Twitter by tagging #godofwarascension in your Tweet. Sony will then choose the best questions to be asked during the event, with the winners grabbing a signed God of War: Ascension poster.
