Killing Floor Gold Edition to arrive June 1st 2012

To celebrate crossing the threshold of 1 million copies sold earlier in 2012 for their first person co-op zombie shooter Killing Floor, developer Tripwire Interactive and its retail publishing partner Iceberg Interactive have jointly announced the upcoming release of Killing Floor ‘Gold Edition’ for the PC.

Killing Floor Gold Edition will include the base game, all DLC available to date and most importantly, a brand new female character which will also introduce female voice overs for players in the game, supported in English, German and French.

“We were thrilled to hit the 1 million copies sold milestone. This Gold Edition will appeal to both existing players, who will now have a unique and exclusive female in-game character and to new players, who can jump in to the game with the complete set of available DLC characters. For players who already own the game, the copy of the game and DLC included will, of course, be tradeable in Steam, so that they can give the base game to a friend to join them.” said Alan Wilson, VP at Tripwire Interactive.

Killing Floor Gold Edition is available for pre-order purchase at the Iceberg Webshop (www.iceberg-shop.com) for Europe and the Tripwire Webshop for North America and will appear on European retail shelves in June.
