Master Chief returns with Worldwide launch of Halo 4 on 6th November 2012

Microsoft have confirmed that Halo 4, the sequel to the iconic franchise will launch worldwide on 6th November 2012 for the Xbox 360.

Set four years after the events in Halo 3, Halo 4 will see the return of Master Chief in the first of a new trilogy of Halo games, named the "Reclaimer Trilogy". Whereas the previous Halo games were developed by Bungie, the Halo Reclaimer Triolgy will be developed by 343 Industries.

“We are beginning a new saga with Halo 4 and embarking on a journey that will encompass the next decade of Halo games and experiences,” said Phil Spencer, corporate vice president of Microsoft Studios.

“Halo 3, the biggest consumer product launch of all time when it released in 2007, concluded the original game trilogy, but left many unanswered questions around the fates of the series’ beloved hero, the Master Chief, and his artificial intelligence companion, Cortana. On 6th November, fans will experience the next chapter of the iconic franchise."
