BBC Sport app now available to download from the PlayStation Network in the UK

Sony has announced that the free BBC Sports app is now in beta and is available to download from the "My Channels" section on the PlayStation Network.

The app provides UK consumers with a mix of both live and on-demand sporting events from the UK and around the world, including the London 2012 Olympics Games, Formula One, Wimbledon and more.

In addition to the current BBC red-button function the BBC Sport app will also have access to more interactive content and extra coverage of future sporting events.
