Ridge Racer - Ultimate Edition and Ridge Racer 7 - 3D license version now available on the PlayStation Network

Namco has today announced that Ridge Racer - Ultimate Edition for the PS Vita and Ridge Racer 7 - 3D License Version for the PlayStation 3 are now both available for download from the PlayStation network in Europe.

Ridge Racer - Ultimate Edition features all of the downloadable contents which were previously made available through the Gold Pass and the Silver Pass. This special bundle will give you access to the full game, 8 add-on machines, 6 add-on courses, 4 new songs and 2 medley songs. The game also makes use of the PS Vita “near” and Wi-Fi functionality that allows players to instantly race against rivals locally or from around the world in real-time.

Ridge Racer 7 - 3D license version for the PS3, which was first released as a launch title for the system back in 2006, has been updated with 3D support and includes over 20 courses to conquer and 40 different machines to customize in a career mode comprising of 160 races. Players can also take their customized vehicles online in 14 player multiplayer races.
