UK's Hitman: Sniper Challenge winner to feature in future Hitman game and be presented with a Golden Joystick award

Square Enix has announced the grand prize for the Hitman: Sniper Challenge competition in the UK. The person crowned "The UK’s Ultimate Assassin" will be immortalised in a future Hitman game and will also be presented with a Golden Joystick at Future Publishing’s annual Golden Joystick Awards on 26th October 2012.

The Hitman: Sniper Challenge competition is now live with gamers competing for daily, weekly and monthly prizes. All Monthly winners will have the chance to battle it out in a Grand Final and be crowned the UK’s Ultimate Assassin.

“Hitman: Sniper Challenge has been an extremely successful pre-order incentive for us,” said Jon Brooke, Brand Director of the Hitman Franchise. “We’re really excited to be able to offer one fan a once in a lifetime prize and The Golden Joysticks is the perfect partner to showcase the Ultimate Assassin’s achievement.”

Hitman: Sniper Challenge is now available to download as a pre-order promotion for those who pre-order Hitman: Absoultion. PC owners will be able to download Hitman: Sniper Challenge through Steam from 1st August 2012.
