One Piece: Pirate Warriors out now for the PlayStation 3, additional content coming September 26th

Namco has announced that One Piece: Pirate Warriors for the PlayStation 3 is now available at retailers and via digital download on PlayStation Network across Europe, the game will be available in North America tomorrow (September 25th).

The first nautical outing for the One Piece series on PlayStation 3, One Piece: Pirate Warriors immerses players in the Straw Hat Pirates’ grand voyage, as they face up to hordes of pirate and Marine enemies and experience all the great moments from the anime right up to Marineford. Faithful to the original One Piece manga by Eiichiro Oda, players will relive their favourite scenes in the shoes of pirates Luffy, Zorro, Nami and others, each with their signature moves, including Gomu-Gomu attacks.

Ten exclusive DLC packs are also lined up for release from September 26th onwards, each featuring one of the best-loved characters from One Piece with a special costume and an additional scenario. The first three DLC packs will feature Luffy with a samurai costume and Nami and Zoro dressed in traditional kimonos, with a new quest for each. Seven other DLC packs, each containing one character and an accompanying quest, will arrive later this October.
