Reverb Publishing and developer Lukewarm Media have announced that their team-based multiplayer dinosaur shooter, Primal Carnage, is now available for the PC via the Primal Carnage website, Steam, GameStop, GamersGate, and Rain for $14.99/£11.99.

“I’ve been looking forward to this day for so long now, I can’t tell you how pumped I am that Primal Carnage is launching today,” said Ted Lange, executive producer at Reverb Publishing. “There’s something intrinsically amazing about being able to slice through a crowd of humans as a raptor, or to team up and take down a hulking T-Rex as the humans. Simply put, this game rocks and I can’t wait to see you all online.”

Primal Carnage is a class-based online multiplayer shooter featuring fast-paced combat between a team of humans and hordes of some of the most vicious animals ever to walk the face of the earth. Players can choose to take on both sides of the battle as either the human classes utilizing an arsenal of distinct and unique weaponry or inhabit the body of one of these menacing and powerful dinosaurs intent on leaving a trail of blood and destruction in their wake.

Featuring 10 playable classes (five Human, five Dinosaur), each with unique skills and abilities, players will wage war between man and beast in five large, open and varied environments from both first-person (Human) and third-person (Dinosaur) perspectives, which provides a contrasting gameplay experience for both teams.
