Limited edition Mario and Pikachu 3DS XL release dates confirmed for Europe

Three limited edition Nintendo 3DS XL consoles will be available in stores across Europe just in time for Christmas, Nintendo have confirmed.

Mario fans can either pick up a limited edition white 3DS XL pre-installed with Mario Kart 7 on 16th November or a white 3DS XL pre-installed with Super Mario 3D Land on 30th November. Both of which are priced at £199.99.

From 7th December onwards Pokémon fans can also get their hands on a special limited edition Nintendo 3DS XL in yellow for £179.99, which features an image of Pikachu on the system.

All three consoles will only be available in limited quantities so Nintendo is urging fans to pre-order to make sure they don't miss out.
