EU: Project X Zone demo is out now on the 3DS eShop

The first Project X Zone demo is now available for download from the European 3DS eShop, Namco has announced.

The demo entitled "Lethal Surprise," is set in the Sakura Wars' Imperial Theater stage and it features characters from Sakura Wars, Cyberbots, Space Channel 5 and Valkyria Chronicles. Additionally, a second demo entitled "Dark Hours" has been announced for June 27th. It will be set in a Ghosts 'n Goblins-based stage.

Project X Zone features over 50 playable characters from 29 historic game franchises by three of Japan’s most prolific video game companies, Capcom, Namco and Sega. In Project X Zone players will use a team of two characters to explore the world within the game. Players will have to master an array of screen-busting moves including Solo Attacks, Support Attacks, Cross Hits, and Finishing Moves in order to defeat a multitude of foes.

Project X Zone will launch on July 5th exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS, on the Nintendo eShop and at retailers.
