The next installment in the Super Smash Bros. series will launch for the Wii U and 3DS in 2014, Nintendo has announced. New characters not seen in the series before were The Villager from Animal Crossing and Mega Man. Previous combatants also shown included Mario, Bowser, Pikachu, Kirby, Donkey Kong, Link and Samus.
