Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame hitting Android, iOS later this month

Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame, a mobile remake of the 1993 sequel to the original Prince of Persia, is headed to iOS and Android devices on July 25th, Ubisoft has announced.

Priced at £1.99/$2.99, The Shadow and the Flame will allow players to explore various levels in "visually-stunning 3D" with intuitive controls designed for touchscreens. Among plenty of new features, players will now be able to choose between gesture-based touch controls or the classic virtual joystick. The combat system has also been improved with multiple enemies, tactical challenges and a brand new combo system.

The Shadow and the Flame will also feature social connectivity, allowing players to unlock achievements and ascend the leaderboards or to share scores with Facebook integration.
