Warner Bros. has confirmed to IGN that the PC version of Batman: Arkham Origins will use Valve's Steamworks for its multiplayer connectivity and achievements, dropping Microsoft's neglected Games for Windows Live service. Despite having no multiplayer modes, Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City both use GFWL for achievement tracking, where it earned a reputation of causing installation problems and making the transfer and backing up of saved game files extremely difficult.
