Behind the scenes ‘Music and Sound FX’ video released for Stronghold Crusader 2

Firefly Studios has just released a new video update in its Gambitious crowdfunding campaign for Stronghold Crusader 2, inviting fans behind the scenes into the wonderful world of series composer Robert Euvino.

Robert has worked as composer on the Stronghold series since its inception, starting with the original Stronghold in 2001. A close friend of company Co-Founders Simon Bradbury and Eric Ouellette, Mr. Euvino’s work on the series has been consistently praised by critics and fans as a large part of what gives Stronghold its unique character and charm.

“The Crusader genre in general is amongst my favourite to work on. Mostly because it allows me to explore a lot of exotic instruments and mysterious sounds that I don’t often get the opportunity to play with”, said Robert on return to the Stronghold franchise. “It’s also a great excuse to get together with some super talented musicians who play all these various eccentric instruments and, while I am the composer and arranger, these other players really deserve a lot of the credit for helping create the atmosphere you’ll be hearing.”

Scheduled for release in early 2014, Stronghold Crusader 2 will be digitally self-published by Firefly Studios. Additional funding is currently being sought through a new games-centric crowdfunding platform Gambitious. Funds raised will be put toward an extended development cycle, a closed beta and additional game content.
