Sony is holding back a number of PS4 consoles from its pre-order allocation, in an attempt to satisfy demand throughout the winter and early 2014. Speaking recently to Fox Business, Jack Tretton--chief executive of Sony America--said: "We want to make sure people can buy a PS4 on November 15 and through the holidays, so we're holding back some inventory to make sure people will be able to buy one."
