XCOM Enemy Unknown free to play on Steam this weekend, Enemy Within pre-order now live

XCOM: Enemy Within, the upcoming expansion pack for XCOM: Enemy Unknown, is now available for pre-order, 2K Games has announced. Fans who pre-order Enemy Within digitally for PC and Mac will receive 10% off their purchase. Enemy Within will be available on November 12th.

To celebrate the digital pre-order for Enemy Within, the XCOM franchise is currently on sale at participating digital retailers for up to 75% off. Additionally, gamers new to XCOM can play XCOM: Enemy Unknown for free now via Steam's Free-to-Play Weekend until Sunday, October 6th.

The XCOM franchise sale pricing is available now until Monday, October 7th. If players would like to keep their Enemy Unknown game progress from Steam's Free-to-Play Weekend intact, they will need to purchase the game before the sale ends.
