Mark Cerny, the lead architect for PlayStation 4, has suggested that the new console's Remote Play feature will inevitably not work ideally on all game genres. The new Remote Play technology sends a video feed from the PS4 to a user's PS Vita - ideally with both connected to the same Wi-Fi router - and the handheld then sends input commands back to the console. Inevitably, there is a degree of lag in this process, and early reports indicate the latency is not negligible.
