Microsoft has published a support page on its website allowing the download of the latest operating system for Xbox One outside of Xbox Live, just in case users have trouble connecting to Xbox Live on Friday. You'll need a flash drive with at least 2 GB of available space to transfer the firmware update to your Xbox One from your PC.
