It appears Microsoft will soon be gifting a week of free Xbox Live Gold to subscribers affected by the service issues that took place on March 11th. Microsoft is notifying users who qualify for the bonus time via the Xbox Live Messaging system. There's no word on whether this offer will be extended to every Gold member or only those who could not log in on the day in question.
