Sonic Jump Fever bursting onto mobiles this year

SEGA Networks has officially announced Sonic Jump Fever today, a brand new title coming this summer as a free download to iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Android devices. Based on the critically acclaimed Sonic Jump released on Feature Phones in 2005 and adapted on smartphones in 2012, Sonic Jump Fever takes the genre in a new direction. This time it’s all about score and competition among friends.

In Sonic Jump Fever, players compete for high scores in fast vertical jumping challenges. Playing as Sonic, Knuckles, and a host of other characters, friends blast each other’s scores by pulling off huge combos and quickly deploying boosters, upgrades, and unique character abilities. Quickly earning points unleashes Fever Mode and puts the player into hyper-speed for earth-shattering scores.

To keep the competition burning, twice a week, playable levels automatically move up to the next zone for all the players. Each time, all scores get reset and players have a new chance to battle their friends for leaderboard dominance.

Developed by SEGA’s internal mobile studio Hardlight, Sonic Jump Fever brings players together in the fastest and most snackable Sonic competition ever. Get ready. JUMP!
