The remastered Crysis is now available to download from Games on Demand on Xbox Live for $19.99/£14.99. The Playstation 3 version is expected to be released soon.

The game contains the single player campaign with all new lighting, new effects, new Nanosuit control and full stereoscopic 3D support. However, unlike the original, the PSN/XBL versions of the game lack the online multiplayer component.

Crysis, originally a PC-only powerhouse game that served as the perfect showpiece for your rig, recently received an announcement of impending console ports. Now we've learned that you won't have to wait much longer if you're a console player who missed out on the initial release. The game is set to release on October 4.

Gametrailers have released an world exclusive trailer which reveals the original Crysis, launched back in 2007 for the PC, will now be making an appearance on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 this October for 1600MSP or £15.99/$25.49.
