Kalypso Media has released a new trailer for Dark, the upcoming vampire-themed stealth/action title for the Xbox 360 and Windows PC. In the new trailer, you'll get a close-up look at several of the vampire powers available to you, as the newly turned vampire, Eric Bane. Watch as Eric hypnotises unsuspecting guards to slip past them or deliver a deadly strike. Or, use Regeneration to convert the blood of your enemies to health points.

One of the unique features of Dark, the upcoming vampire stealth-action title from Kalypso Media, is Eric Bane’s use of his newly acquired vampire abilities. You, as Eric, will make use of a slew of incredible powers to slip around enemies, kill from a distance, and pull off stunning finishing moves when Dark ships on the Xbox 360 and Windows PC this June.

Kalypso Media has today unveiled additional details of 'Dark', a third-person stealth-action game for the Xbox 360 and Windows PC.

In Dark players take on the role of a vampire out to discover the secrets of the mysterious global GeoForge Corporation. By making the most of powerful vampire skills, stealth and lethal combat abilities, players will engage and destroy their enemies, while moving silently through a stylized futuristic cityscape. The treacherous techno universe of Dark is rendered in gorgeous cel-shaded graphics with gameplay that tests the players’ ability to master both stealth and combat.

Dark is a stealth action game with RPG elements that lets you slip into the role of the ultimate killer… a vampire. Players can stalk enemies from the shadows then use powerful vampire abilities to attack and silently dispatch them! The exciting story of Dark immerses you in a world full of blood and darkness in which the hunter can become the hunted at any time. As you unravel the mystery behind the global conglomerate that seems omnipresent and all-powerful, continually improve your character by developing powerful skills to aid you in remaining unobserved, or make quick process of those unfortunate to take too keen an interest in you.

Kalypso Media have announced 'Dark', a new vampire role-playing game which will be available for the PC and consoles in the first quarter of 2013.

Described as a stealth-action game with RPG elements, 'Dark' sees players assume the role of Eric Bane, a new vampire who wakes up at the beginning of the game in a blood-suckers club with only fragmentary memories. It’s then up to the player to discover his past, fight through a dark and modern world, and utilize his “powerful vampire abilities.”

Eric can teleport instantly to enemies to eliminate them with a single deadly finishing move or dissolve into smoke to surprise opponents. For a successful hunt however, it is centrally darkness and shadows which players must use to their advantage to make a kill.

In the game players can also meet up with other vampires, improve your character and develop impressive skills. Players can also use upgraded hard-hitting melee attacks to defeat dangerous enemies such as police, elite soldiers, ghouls and vampires.

Dark will be playable at the Role Play Convention in Cologne this weekend, more details about the game are expected to follow.
