Media Molecule has revealed details of the Muppets Premium Level Kit – an all new story mode for LittleBigPlanet 2 spanning 5 new levels and 2 mini-games.

In the story mode players must stop the nefarious Phantom's plan to stop the Muppet Show from being a smashing success, with help from the new Attract-O-Gel material and the Attract-O-Tweak gadget. The new glowing blue Attract-O-Gel material allows Sackboy to walk on walls and ceilings, whilst the Attract-O-Tweak gadget can be used to give these sticky properties to any material.

Along with the new story mode, The Muppets pack is also filled with new creator assets and tools with oodles of decorations, stickers, objects, music tracks, sound effects, and voices, plus 7 new trophies, 12 new pins and a bonus costume of Rowlf the Dog.

The Muppets Premium Level Kit is available to download from the Playstation Network this week from the 24th of January (Release dates may vary, depending on your territory), and costs £4.79 / €5.99 / US $5.99 / AUS $ 9.95 / NZD $11.50

Sony have released the LittleBigPlanet 2 move pack on the Playstation Network today. The Move Pack adds new tools and features allowing users to create their own levels that can be played with the PlayStation Move controller and shared online.

The LittleBigPlanet 2: Move Pack also features a new story mode, The Rise of the Cakeling, with 14 new levels and a brand new toy, The Brain Crane; a new powerup that allows you to control objects with the power of your mind.

PlayStation Move controls give players a new suite of fresh creative tools including the Movinator, Motion Recorder and Paint Tool. These instruments will give you the power to create and design your own Move games, record fluid motions and paint your own stickers. You can also add to your PlayStation Trophies with 11 new trophies to collect.

The LittleBigPlanet 2 Move Pack is available on PSN for $9.99 / £6.29 / €7.99.

Media Molecule have announced that starting this week they will be releasing DLC packs for Little Big Planet 2 which will be themed from Final Fantasy VII, inFamous 2, Killzone 3 and Toy Story.

Coming this week will be the inFamous 2 mini-pack which contains costumes of Good Cole and Bad Cole with a whole host of new stickers (below).

On July 13th the Final Fantasy VII DLC pack will contain ephiroth, Cloud, Aeris, Tifa and a bonus Vincent costume. The Final Fantasy VII costumes can be purchased separately or as a complete package.

On July 20th the Kill Zone 3 mini-pack will be released containing Rico and Hazmat Trooper costumes, and new stickers.

The Toy Story packs, which were unveiled during E3 will be three new costume packs containing all of the favorite Toy Story characters, plus a level pack containing new Toy Story-themed levels to play through.

The Killzone 3 and inFamous 2 mini-packs will cost $2.99/£2.39 each, while the Final Fantasy VII pack will cost $5.99/£4.79 or each costume can be purchased from the Final Fantasy Vii pack separately for $1.99/£1.59 each. No price has yet been announced for the Toy Story packs.
