Launching in conjunction with Major League Baseball 2K12, the MLB 2K12/NBA 2K12 Combo Pack will feature a full retail version of 2K Sports’ new Major League Baseball offering, MLB 2K12, along with a full retail version of NBA 2K12.
Players who purchase the MLB 2K12/NBA 2K12 Combo Pack, along with those who purchase the standalone MLB 2K12 offering, will be eligible to compete in this year’s $1 Million Perfect Game Challenge in which the eight finalists who throw the highest-ranked perfect games will compete in a live tournament with the winner claiming the grand prize.

Legends Showcase allows gamers to select from more than 300 of the NBA’s all-time greatest players, including Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and Dr. J, and compete in authentic pick-up games from 1-on-1 up to 5-on-5, and mini-games, such as 21 and H-O-R-S-E, along with other new features like the 2-on-2 Teammate Challenge and 3-on-3 Era Challenge.
Also included is a Classic Quick Match, a new mode which allows gamers to play online with the NBA’s Greatest teams in a regular simulation setting. Gamers can unlock current NBA players to create unique match-ups between legends and current stars and bring their My Player into the mix and battle the legends of the NBA to see how they stack up against the best.

The demo showcases many of this year’s improvements, including an all-new post play system for full 360-degree player movement to dominate the paint, total shot stick control for more intuitive offensive moves, and updated visuals complete with dynamic broadcast-style pre-game highlight reels.

The extensive collection of 28 tracks includes original and remixes created specifically for NBA 2K12, including Freddie Gibbs' "Look Easy," the Duck Down All-Stars 2 featuring Skyzoo, Pharoahe Monch & Smif N Wessun's "Shout The Winners Out," CyHi Da Prynce's "Sideways (2K Remix)," and Alex K. and D.J.I.G.'s "Now's My Time."
Alex K. and D.J.I.G. are the winners of the Duck Down contest who, with the help of passionate fans, were chosen from thousands of competing producers and MCs to collaborate on an original track to be featured in NBA 2K12.
