The PlayStation 4 version of Octodad: Dadliest Catch has been pushed back to April, developer Young Horses has revealed. The game was previously scheduled to arrive next month. The revised date was highlighted on Twitter, where Young Horses stated that an early April release was "most likely". Reasons for its delay were not provided.

Octodad: Dadliest Catch will support local co-op for up to four players, developer Young Horses confirmed with Polygon today. The game's co-op mode was revealed during our Polygon Live stream earlier this afternoon, where we showed off two-player co-op. Young Horses president Phil Tibitoski told us local co-op will work for two to four players, with each controlling one set of limbs.

The news was delivered during Sony's E3 press briefing by Adam Boyes, Sony's VP of third-party relations. The game comes as part of a big indie push from Sony, which includes the ability for independent developers to self-publish on PlayStation 4.
