With just a week from release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, Of Orcs and Men unveils a whole new kind of video with the Buddy Trailer.

Just like the popular “Buddy Film” movie genre, which casts a pair of unlikely heroes who must band together, there are bound to be communication problems and hilarious moments. This is one of the original aspects of Of Orcs and Men. Indeed, the powerful and proud Orc warrior Arkaïl and the sly Goblin Styx don’t have much in common, and when they butt heads it allows for some comic relief in an otherwise dark and violent adventure.

While their personalities differ, once thrown into the heat of battle these two will actually complement each other quite nicely. Between the elite Orc soldier’s devastating power and the agility of the Goblin, they will both have to depend on their companion’s talents and skills to get out of tricky situations. For example, Styx will be able to strike opponents out of Arkaïl's reach, while the powerful Orc's melee style will draw enemy fire and protect the weaker Goblin. In the face of adversity, a bond will form between the two heroes as they learn to respect each other’s ways.

Of Orcs and Men benefits from music composed by Olivier Deriviere (Alone in the Dark, Obscure) and performed by the talented Boston Cello Quartet, a quartet of cellists from the Boston Symphony Orchestra.

Through this video playing music from the game, discover the different steps of the musical production: from the musicians discovering the game, to recording the score and the final implementation in the game. The video is punctuated by in-game sequences.

The latest trailer for Of Orcs and Men unveils some of the many places you'll explore on your quest while playing as Arkaïl, a fearsome Orc warrior from the legendary legion of Bloodjaws, and Styx, a Goblin master of the assassin arts.

At first glance, Of Orcs and Men, the upcoming RPG co-developed by French teams Cyanide and Spiders, may look like another generic fantasy game. It has the various races and locations, the tactical combat, and the loot fixation that you've seen in hundreds of games like it before. But something is just a little bit different here.

Focus Home Interactive have today unveiled an video teaser for 'Of Orcs and Men'.

This grand role-playing game, jointly realized by Cyanide and Spiders, today showed more of its unique universe and its two heroes: a powerful Orc, and a Goblin, that all opposes except for their skin color, which earned them to be hunted down by the soldiers of the Empire of Men.

Now wanted by the Empire, they are determined to lead their mission to success: assassinate the one who, alone, is responsible for the great war which ravages the Orcs and the Goblins... the Emperor of Men himself. An epic quest awaits our two heroes, which will bring them across the whole Empire and beyond; the video of today is a foretaste of all that awaits you!

Cyanide Studios and Spiders has today announced 'Of Orcs and Men' an RPG which is currently in development for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Of Orcs and Men first puts you into the role of an elite Orc soldier from the legendary legion of Bloodjaws, a league of warriors deeply involved in the war opposing the Orcs and Goblins on one side to their persecutors, Humankind. As a veteran warrior who has seen the most brutal of battles, you are appointed by the Orc commander to complete a mission that could change the course of the war: kill the one man responsible for all of this bloodshed, the one who has, for years, exhorted the human masses to loath and fight the green-skinned people: the Emperor himself.

A Goblin will soon join you to aid you in your mission… he is everything the Orc is not. But you find that this works to your advantage as you fight on the battleground and off. Making advantage of their natural traits, they have their own skill trees you will develop. While the Orc focuses on power, reflecting his incredible strength, the Goblin will benefit from darker powers and stealth abilities, making him the perfect assassin.

From the filthy alleys at the foot of the Great Wall, to the depths of the Empire of Men, your two infiltrated heroes will face the greatest dangers through their epic quest.
