Wolfpack is the first DLC for the action filled FPS, Payday: The Heist. Discover two brand new epic heists: Undercover and Counterfeit as well as four new weapons including a grenade launcher and a deployable sentry gun.

The first downloadable content pack for Payday: The Heist, Wolf Pack, is now available for download on the PC and across Europe for the PlayStation 3 from the PSN Store for £6.49/€7.99. The DLC will be available on the North American PSN Store on August 7th for $9.99.

The Wolfpack features two never-before-seen epic heists – Undercover and Counterfeit. The Undercover heist forces players to drive away the pesky police interrupting a back alley deal, while the Counterfeit heist pressures players to use silenced weapons to keep whistle-blowing civilians from escaping an underground money printing gig.

In addition to the new heists, the Wolf Pack will also contain several new weapons including an all-new auto handgun, assault rifle, grenade launcher and a deployable sentry gun. The Wolf pack will also introduce a new character 'The Technician'. With a new skill set and equipment, the technician is a techno-sociopath who uses the sentry-gun and tool kit.

The new heists can only be hosted if you own the Wolfpack DLC, but anyone with the base game can join for free.

Mercy Hospital, the collaboration between Valve and Overkill, is now available as a free update to PayDay: The Heist on Steam. Set in Left 4 Dead’s Mercy Hospital, the update offers a new heist and a new theme inspired by the zombies of Left 4 Dead.

Sony have today announced that being from today (March 2nd) until Sunday (March 4th at 1pm PST), PC gamers will be able to play Payday: The Heist for FREE on Steam. Also, players can buy the PC version of the game this weekend at 50% off through the morning of March 5th.

SOE have finally revealed the launch date for the Playstation 3 version of Payday The Heist in Europe, which is now scheduled to be available for download on the Playstation network on November 2nd.

Payday was originally due for launch two weeks ago, and is available for free to gamers who bought all four titles in Sony's PSN Network Play promotion. On the Playstation Blog Sony have apologized for the delay and any inconvenience the delay may have caused.

Payday The Heist is now available worldwide for $19.99 USD via digital download on PC systems through multiple digital partners including Steam, Direct-to-Drive/GameFly, Amazon.com, GameStop/Impulse, DLGamer and GameTap. Payday The Heist will support five languages including English, French, Italian, German and Spanish. Sony has announced that Payday: The Heist has been delayed and will now be available for digital download for the PSN and PC later this month, no exact date has been confirmed.

According to the press release, "this delay is a move to ensure players and fans of [the publisher's] promise and vision to produce high-caliber games that deliver the best quality game experience."

Players who pre-ordered Payday: The Heist will receive the game at launch, and those who purchased the four other PSN titles as part of the PlayStation Network PLAY program will also be awarded Payday: The Heist when it launches later this month, according to the terms of that program.

Sony have today introduced the first annual PlayStation Network PLAY. Starting August 10th, 2011 gamers who pre-order games from the PLAY lineup from the PlayStation Store will receive a free Playstation 3 theme and a separate piece of DLC.

In addition, PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive an automatic 20% off every PLAY program purchase if they make their purchase on or before 20th September 2011.

As a bonus gift, those who purchase all four PLAY titles in the PlayStation Store on or before 20th September 2011 will receive a PSN voucher code for Payday: The Heist, at no additional cost .
