Black Bean Games and Milestone have today revealed the core features of SBK Generations, their upcoming motorcycle racing title.

SBK Generations is a huge experience set throughout four different seasons of the Superbike FIM World Championship, starting in 2009 and ending with this year’s 2012 season. All the iconic SBK Champions will be included: from the “King” Carl Fogarty, to the “Gentlemen” Troy Bayliss on his Ducati, the 2011 Champion Carlos Checa, and many more.

Fabio Paglianti, SBK Generations Game Director commented: “Live through the generations has been our mantra since we started development on SBK Generations. We knew this was going to be the last iteration of our SBK series, so we wanted to give our fans something really special: the chance to experience all the emotion of the SBK championships from recent years.”

He continued: “All the players will be able to challenge legendary champions, such as the amazing riders shown in this trailer (below) and all in the same race, something which has never happened in a real life SBK round”

SBK Generations will deliver the best riders of all ages gathered through 4 seasons in the largest SBK game of all time. It will include 10 rosters, ranging from 2009 to 2012, featuring more than 220 riders, 141 teams and 60 bike models from 10 manufacturers that raced between 1999 and 2012.

The game also features advanced improvements on the in-house developed X Engine, which now features a greater visual impact, a revamped career mode, more realistic weather simulation, evolving track technology, real-time lightning, bloom, High Dynamic Range, improved Emotion FX character animations that look better than ever and the usual high quality of game handling and physics simulation.

SBK Generations is scheduled for release in June 2012 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC.

Black Bean Games have today announced that a new SBK videogame is being developed by Milestone Studios, an Italian software developer, and is scheduled for release in May 2012 for PlayStation 3, the Xbox 360 and Windows PC.

Following the successful international launch of SBK 2011, SBK Generations will deliver the usual official package of the next Championship Season made up of classes, riders, and tracks from the 2012 roster.

Black Bean Games have stated that "SBK Generations will not only be your ultimate motorbike racing experience, but also the largest motorbike game and will meet racing fans expectations following the most accurate feedback collected from international critics, gamers, and worldwide customers."

Although details about the game are sketchy at the moment, Black Bean Games have promised that more details will be revealed in the upcoming weeks.
