Exclusive to the PlayStation 3 is a skillful Challenge Mode tasking players to test their talents in 1-2 minute challenges that make use of the Story Mode levels.
The PlayStation Vita introduces new touch controls, a GPS Unlock Gallery that conveys the player’s cumulative progression, and unlockable rewards such as concept art.
In addition, both versions include a new character 'Wilhelmina Muller' and her “UD Bomb” sub-weapon. The enigmatic Muller originally appeared in G.Rev’s cult-hit Under Defeat and will be appearing in the upcoming Under Defeat HD. The “UD Bomb” weapon opens up new opportunities to clear the screen of enemies with its radial blue laser effect that starts a detonation wave to eliminate opposing forces.

To celebrate the digital release of Sine Mora, Kalypso Digital have released a new trailer (below) for the game, which shows off Sine Mora's HD visuals - including gigantic bosses, stunning weapons and unique enemies.

Exclusive to this new version is a guest character from Japanese cult studio G.rev, responsible for many shoot'em up classics like Border Down, Strania or Under Defeat. Vita owners will be able to select a new hero, Wilhelmine Muller, coming directly from the world of Under Defeat. Of course, the presence of Wilhelmine also means a brand new special weapon and new chronomes, available only on Vita.
"When you've got a great game on your hands, there's nothing you want to do more than share it with everyone," said Balázs Horváth, director of publishing at Digital Reality. "We had a fantastic launch with Microsoft exclusively on Xbox LIVE Arcade, and we're really excited to continue that on the Vita."

All of this is set to an epic score composed by Akira Yamaoka (acclaimed for his works on Shadows of the Damned and the Silent Hill series) and with set pieces from boss battles designed by the legendary anime director Mahiro Maeda (Final Fantasy: Unlimited, The Animatrix segment "The Second Renaissance Parts I and II", and the animation sequence in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Vol. 1).

Mr. Maeda’s credits include directing Blue Submarine No. 6, Final Fantasy: Unlimited and The Animatrix (segment: "The Second Renaissance Parts I and II"). Internationally, he’s first and foremost known for the animation sequence in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Vol. 1.
