Scenes involving abortion and anal probes have been cut from the European version of South Park: The Stick of Truth. That’s according to BT.com which reports that the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) has had seven 20-second scenes removed – a decision made by publisher Ubisoft.

Here we go again. The upcoming new RPG South Park: The Stick of Truth has been modified for an Australian release, PlayerAttack learned today. While we have no idea what exactly has been changed, as you can see on the official site of the Australian Classification Board, the version of the game submitted is marked as Modified, but it still merits an R18+ for “High impact crude humour, sex scenes and references to sexual violence.”

South Park: The Stick of Truth has been delayed. Again. Originally scheduled to arrive in early December, the game has been pushed to March 4, 2014 in North American and March 6, 2014 in Europe.

South Park: The Stick of Truth will launch on December 10th in North America and December 12th in Europe, Ubisoft has announced. Anyone who pre-orders The Stick of Truth will receive the Ultimate Fellowship pack, which offers “four exclusive Stick of Truth costumes that come equipped with special abilities.”
