Tecmo Koei Europe has announced a cross over collaboration between critically acclaimed tactical action title, Toukiden: The Age of Demon, and fan favourite action adventure Soul Sacrifice.

Toukiden players will be able to test their skills in two new multiplayer missions featuring one of the most feared monsters in the Soul Sacrifice universe: the three-headed guardian Cerberus. These two missions, entitled "Hell's Guard Dog" and "Dogs of War", can be accessed via the Portal Stone and multiplayer lobbies. Due to their difficulty they are only recommended for slayer groups of some level and skill, with well upgraded equipment!

In addition, players will be able to roam the battlefields dressed up in a new piece of armour as the Noble Raiment’s from Soul Sacrifice. The DLC will be available via PSN today (March 26th). Both missions and the new armour will be offered free of charge via the PlayStation Network store.

Toukiden: The Age of Demons is now available for the PlayStation Vita in North America, Teco Koei has announced. Available at retailers or as a digital download via the PlayStation Store, the game will launch across Europe on February 14th. Developed by Omega Force, creators of the famed Dynasty Warrior series, Toukiden: The Age of Demons casts players in the role of a Slayer: a skilled warrior charged with hunting monstrous Oni (demons) that threaten all of humanity.

With a rich story exploring many eras of Japanese history, memorable characters, stunning visuals, complex combat system, and four-player support, Toukiden: The Age of Demons represents the most ambitious title to date from the team at Omega Force. Toukiden: The Age of Demons is set in a vibrant, fantasy infused representation of Japanese history spanning from the Asuka period to the final days of the Tokugawa shogunate. New Slayers will begin their journey on the frontlines of battle in the Utakata Village, build a party from a cast of memorable characters, and join the hunt for adventure with up to four friends via ad-hoc multiplayer.

But be warned: Defeating the Oni threat will be no small task. Utilizing the unique Targeted Destruction combat system, Slayers must master a variety of weapons and attacks, working closely with allies to systematically slash, pierce, and destroy the towering Oni, piece-by-piece. From the ashes of fallen Oni, arises Mitama, the souls of legendary heroes, which Slayers can use to imbue their weapons with special abilities and attributes. With over 200 Mitama in the game, the ability to customize and combine lets Slayers bring their weapons of choice to life with the power and influence of unique heroes of legend.

Toukiden: The Age of Demons will launch for PS Vita on February 11th in North America and February 14th in Europe, Tecmo Koei has announced. Following a ground breaking success in Japan, with sales exceeding 420,000 units (a feat all the more impressive for an original IP), Toukiden: the Age of Demons is now being localised for release in the west.

Set against a backdrop inspired by various historical periods of Japan, Toukiden tells the tale of humanity’s last stand for survival. When monstrous demons (Oni) of varying strength and size invaded the world through cracks in space and time and started attacking humans, the only opposition came from the Slayers; a caste that has always secretly protected mankind from their murderous intent.

Eight years after time warped and Oni appeared, a brave young Slayer embarks on a journey to thin the numbers of the enemy and help humanity survive. Players take the role of this young warrior and can fully customise their characters, weapons and armour and form a group of hunters to take down the destructive Oni.

This visually stunning game boasts an extensive character creation mode, and six different weapon types, each of which can be forged and upgraded to the player’s preferences, while it also features 200 characters based on both fictional and historical Japanese figures, whose souls help players strengthen their team and defeat their enemies.

In North America, consumers who pre-order at GameStop will receive two extra Mission Collections, and the 'Mitama of Niijima Yae.' Amazon consumers will receive the 'Mitama of Momotaro,' a warrior’s soul that will strengthen the player’s skill, and the 'Cat Ears' and 'Fox Mask' armor.

In Europe, consumers who pre-order via PlayStation Network will receive the 'Mitama of Momotaro' and the 'Cat Ears' armor. Pre-orders through Amazon, Game, and independent retailers through Centresoft will receive the 'Mitama of Nijima Yae' and the 'Fox Mask' armor.

Tecmo Koei Europe has announced a number of exciting titles currently under development for the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Vita, and slated for release in the first months of 2014.

Toukiden: The Age of Demons

Following a ground breaking success in Japan where its current sales stand well over the 400,000 mark, an impressive feat for an original IP, Toukiden: the Age of Demons is now being localised for release in Europe for the PlayStation Vita.

In Toukiden, players can customise characters, weapons and armour and form a group of hunters to take down the destructive Oni- demons of varying strength and size who have invaded the world through cracks in space and time. This visually stunning game boasts an extensive character creation mode, six non-player characters beautifully designed by Atelier Ayesha artist Hidari, and six different weapon types, each of which can be forged and upgraded to the player’s preferences. Toukiden: The Age of Demons, is set against a backdrop inspired by various historical periods of Japan, while it also features 200 characters based on both fictional and historical Japanese figures, whose souls help players strengthen their team and defeat their enemies.

Atelier Escha and Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky

The latest instalment in the long-loved Atelier series, Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky, is a direct sequel to Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk and will be released in Europe in early 2014 for the PlayStation.

For the first time in PlayStation 3, Atelier series players can choose if they will follow the story of Escha or Logy, a novelty that offers a unique story perspective and gameplay experience. Escha’s story is a delightful tale of the everyday adventures of an alchemist that Atelier series’ fans love, whereas Logy’s story follows a darker approach filled with traditional RPG elements and focused on world exploration.

Deception IV: Blood Ties

From the producer of Fatal Frame comes the re-imagining of the classic Tecmo title ‘Devil’s Deception’, first released in 1996 on the PlayStation. The Deception series uniquely focuses in giving players a taste of what it’s like to play on the side of evil by using a wide variety of imaginative traps to exact revenge on their adversaries.

Deception IV: Blood Ties is being developed for the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Vita and is, much like its predecessors, a strategy focused action series where players control a main character that defeats enemies by luring them into imaginative traps.
